On Sunday, July 13, the Spiritual Growth Committee will be sponsoring a potluck dinner after worship for Jean Hines Sunday. 

The Spiritual Growth Committee is providing meat, drinks and dessert.  All are encouraged to bring casseroles, vegetables and salads to share as we gather to say our goodbyes to Jean.  The committee also asks that everyone bring non-perishable food items with them as we    remember those who do not have enough to eat.  As we did at Thanksgiving last year, we’ll pile the food up front in the sanctuary and ask God to bless it, that it may go far to help those in need.

Westwood Family Picnic

Our Family picnic is scheduled for Saturday, August 9th

4 to 7 pm

We will eat at 5 pm.
Please join us and bring a covered  picnic type dish to share.  Spiritual Growth Committee will provide   hamburgers, hotdogs and buns.  A sign-up sheet for grillers, game coordinator, setup and cleanup will be on the bulletin board in July.

Committee, Mary/Martha Circle and those who contributed by donating money for new toys and other items needed to make our Nursery a welcoming place for parents to bring their children during Worship.  Now that the Nursery is up and  running, we need volunteers to work in the Nursery.  We need two volunteers each Sunday. 
Our Nursery attendance is small but consistent and we hope to grow.  Please help by     volunteering to work on a rotating schedule.  Also if you are in the Choir and are available during the Summer, please consider volunteering until the Choir resumes in the fall.
